Pengaruh Beban Terhadap Stabilitas Lereng Menggunakan Metode Janbu di Area Perumahan Indrapuri Pekanbaru
Abstract
Derofizha Permata Housing, located on Jalan Indrapuri, Tenayan Raya Sub-district, Pekanbaru City, is located in an area with hilly land contours that form natural slopes. The unstable slope geometry condition and additional load from infrastructure development and residential buildings are factors that trigger landslide potential. Therefore, slope stability analysis is crucial in planning sustainable development in the area. This study aims to evaluate the effect of load on slope stability using the Janbu Method. The Janbu Method is a boundary equilibrium approach that considers circular and non-circular landslide planes by dividing the slope into several slices and calculating the balance of forces and moments. Data were collected through geotechnical investigations at 12 slope points scattered in a residential area. The soil parameters used included cohesion, deep shear angle, and soil volume weight. The analysis was conducted by comparing the slope safety factor values before and after being subjected to loads. The results showed that the surface load had a significant influence on the decrease of the slope safety factor. The percentage decrease in stability ranged from 4.12% to 18.07%, with an average decrease of 12.52%. The point with the highest decrease indicates a potential collapse that needs serious attention in civil engineering planning. The study concludes that the addition of surface load can significantly reduce slope stability, making it necessary to strengthen the slope or limit the additional load in the vulnerable zone. These results can serve as a reference for housing planners and developers in anticipating landslide risks in hilly areas.
