Tinjauan Aksesibilitas Antarmoda Bus Transpadang dan Angkutan Kota Mini Bus di Kota Padang
Abstract
The increasing number of vehicles in Padang City shows the high dependence of the community on private vehicles, which are far more dominant than the use of public transportation. This study aims to assess the level of intermodal transportation accessibility between Transpadang buses and city transportation in each sub-district, and formulate strategies to improve the interconnection between these modes of public transportation. The method used in this study involved mapping using Google Maps software. The survey was conducted by calculating the travel distance, travel time, number of transits, and costs required to reach between sub-districts from a total of 11 sub-districts in Padang City. The data collected was then analyzed by dividing the accessibility level into three main categories: speed, number of transits, and travel cost. The values of the three categories were summed to produce an accessibility level score for each sub-district. The results show that Nanggalo sub-district has the lowest level of accessibility compared to other sub-districts. This is mainly due to the high number of transits and travel costs, which fall into the low accessibility category.To provide a solution to this problem, an analysis was conducted using the Logical Framework Analysis (LFA) method. This approach is complemented by the development of a matrix as a strategic planning tool. The resulting strategic recommendations include the development of more efficient direct routes, the addition of strategic transfer points to facilitate movement between lines, increasing service frequency, adjusting intermodal schedules to be more integrated, and improving transportation facilities in terms of comfort and safety.The success of this strategy is highly dependent on the active involvement of various stakeholders.
